Meet our Park Managers
Meet Kevin and Louise – Scamander Sanctuary Holiday Park’s Park Managers. They have been together for a whopping 25 years and are yet to have an argument! Together they have managed many different hospitality businesses including motels, catering groups, hotels and settled on Holiday Parks as their favourite kind of business to manage. They have worked together in many places amongst them Devonport, Burnie, Port Arlington, Low Heads and Ballarat.
Kevin describes himself as “rich and handsome”. He is a friendly, stress-free operator who is young at heart. He spent 10 years in Tassie a while back and during his career has been Senior Driving Officer, a Project Manager and a Dairy Farmer. He even tried out retirement before finding out it wasn’t for him! An avid fisherman, Kevin is a master of many fishing styles including fly fishing and surf fishing. He is enjoying getting to know the hot spots of where to fish around Scamander and is happy to give hot tips on what is biting where if guests are keen to extend a line themselves.
Louise is enjoys the people side of Park Managing and is a keen gardener. She is planning to plant a herb garden at the Park. In her downtime Louise also enjoys a great book so any recommendations of any good reads you’ve found recently will be greatly received.
